Hand of God sculpture from Sistine Chapel

"A client asked me to recreate the Hand of God from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel painting. She wanted a wall-hanging relief sculpture, similar to my car sculptures. I used the same carving and construction techniques used in creating my car sculptures, and it was a lot of fun to carve such a different type of subject. The client wanted it primed white so she could paint it herself with a faux marble finish. She has this piece hanging in her living room and it looks awesome. It was very flattering that she trusted me to sculpt a subject for her which was completely different from all the samples in my portfolio. I welcome the opportunity to apply my sculpture techniques to any type of creative project."
This good sized wall-hanging sculpture is available with a granite marbel finish airbrushed onto the casting by Sal using high gloss automotive paints. Available in December '06. Call for more information.
