The Flying Machine

Hundreds of years ago, Italian artist Leonardo daVinci made design sketches of a flying machine. His vision and techniques were an inspiration for this sculpture which represents an Italian work of art, Ferrari’s F50 super car. The F50 is as close to flying as you can get without leaving the ground. The title and the style of the background sketches are similar to daVinci’s flying machine sketches. The hand-carved wood car appears to be morphing out from the plaster/stucco background. |
