I really enjoy creating images that show how something fits together or how it's constructed. This image was created for a company that makes solar water heating systems. They wanted an image that would show peeled-back details of their solar collectors installed with OSB, tar paper, flashing and shingles. To build a prototype in a photography studio would have been too expensive. This image was created digitally with a combination of 3D modeling and Photoshop retouching.
